Why Alset Collision

The specialist alternative to a generic body shop.

We focus exclusively on Tesla and Rivian collision repair. Independently owned. Not a franchise, not a chain.

Other shops in Florida hold Tesla and Rivian certifications alongside Audi, BMW, Porsche, and VW. At those shops, Tesla and Rivian work competes with higher-margin European work. At Alset Collision, it is the only work.

Axalta refinish

Premium automotive paint chemistry. Not a generic aftermarket equivalent.

5 updates per week

Three texts and two calls per week, every week your car is with us. Not on request — proactive.

Lifetime warranty

Lifetime warranty on labor and workmanship. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty.

Tesla loaner fleet

A fleet of Tesla loaners so our customers never have to drive a gas car while theirs is being repaired. First-come, first-served.

"I love my 2019 Tesla X and would not take her anywhere but Alset Collision. The bumper was torn off when I was side swiped. Great service and she looks like she just rolled off the showroom floor."

"Had our Tesla repaired here and they were fantastic. Communication was excellent and they called me every few days to provide me an update on the repairs. The repair and paint quality was outstanding."

Straight answers

The questions you're actually asking .

01

Do you work with my insurance?

Yes — every insurance company. We carry zero direct repair program (DRP) contracts, which means we work with your insurer but no insurer dictates our repair. Our technicians decide what your Tesla or Rivian needs based on the manufacturer's procedures, not an adjuster's spreadsheet.

02

Can my insurance require me to use their shop?

No. Florida Statute §626.9743 protects your right to choose a licensed repair facility. An insurer cannot require you to use a specific shop. For Tesla and Rivian owners this matters — most insurer-preferred shops are not certified to order manufacturer parts or follow manufacturer procedures.

03

Do I need a claim number before I come in?

For insurance repairs, yes — file the claim with your insurer and get a claim number before you drop off the car. We can't file the claim for you, and the car can't sit in the shop waiting for a claim to open. Self-pay customers don't need a claim number — just call to schedule an estimate and drop-off.

04

How long will my repair take?

Under 10 days average keys-to-keys. Drivable repairs typically complete in 5–7 days. Non-drivable repairs take longer because teardown and parts-ordering cycles are longer. We give you a specific date after in-person inspection — not a vague range.

05

Do you use OEM parts?

Exclusively. Every part is ordered directly from the manufacturer — no aftermarket substitutions, no salvage, no insurance company overriding the parts list.

06

Why can't I just go to a regular body shop?

Most shops can't source OEM parts directly from the manufacturer, don't carry the aluminum welding and bonding tooling these vehicles require, and don't refinish in Axalta. We hold the Tesla Approved Collision Center certification, the Rivian Certified Collision Repair certification, and I-CAR Gold Class — verifiable through each manufacturer's shop locator.

07

Can I text you a photo for a quick estimate?

No. All estimates are done in person at our shop. Teardown almost always reveals hidden damage that photos miss, and an inaccurate photo estimate wastes more of your time than an in-person inspection. Call us to schedule a drop-off.

Start With A Phone Call.

The fastest way to start is a phone call to (941) 837-2712. All estimates are done in person at our shop — teardown almost always reveals hidden damage that photos miss.
