Cybertruck is stainless steel, not aluminum.

Cybertruck body repair is stainless steel repair. The exterior is a stainless steel exoskeleton. It is not an aluminum body, and it is not repaired with an aluminum-panel procedure. Alset Collision is a Tesla Approved Collision Center at 604 N Tamiami Trl, Nokomis, FL 34275. The shop has been in business since 2022.

Aluminum body repair at the same shop is for Tesla models that use aluminum panels, including Model S, Model X, and the aluminum sections of other Teslas. That work is welding, riveting, and bonding where the manufacturer's procedure calls for it. It is written up on the Tesla aluminum repair page. Treating a Cybertruck as one of those aluminum jobs is the mistake this page is here to prevent.

Stainless repair does not borrow the steps used on painted aluminum or painted steel. Sanding, filling, and spraying a conventional panel are the wrong assumption for the exoskeleton. Both repairs happen in Nokomis, with the procedure that matches the vehicle in the bay. A Cybertruck is not put on an aluminum repair plan. An aluminum Model S is not treated as stainless.
