What drives Tesla bumper and body repair cost.

Sarasota drivers who want a Tesla bumper or body repair cost will not find a flat figure on this page. Alset Collision does not publish prices. A photo estimate is a starting point. Final pricing is confirmed after we inspect the vehicle at the shop.

The shop is a Tesla Approved Collision Center at 604 N Tamiami Trl, Nokomis, FL 34275. It has been in business since 2022. From downtown Sarasota, the drive south on US-41 is typically about 22 to 30 minutes in ordinary traffic. There is no Sarasota storefront. Parking at the Nokomis lot is free. What changes the repair is the damage. A scuffed bumper cover is not the same job as a hit that reached the brackets, the absorber, or the structure behind the cover. The cover is the part you see. Pieces behind it may be specified as replace-only. Panels next to the cover may be aluminum. The inspection at the Tesla Approved Collision Center decides which is which. Photos cannot make that call.

Parts are original equipment ordered from the manufacturer. This shop does not write the repair around aftermarket substitutes. If a part has to be ordered, the repair waits on that part. Two cars with similar-looking bumper damage can still need different parts, and the procedure for each model is what the repair follows. Paint changes the scope when a panel has to be refinished and a neighboring panel has to be blended so the color does not stop on a hard line. Color is read on the car. Cameras and sensors in the damaged area change the job again. If a parking sensor, or a camera that supports Autopilot or Full Self-Driving, sits in the repair area, calibration is part of the inspection. We do not assume that from the curb in Sarasota.

Structural movement is a different repair from cosmetic body work. Measurements back to factory dimensions, and aluminum welding, riveting, or bonding where the procedure calls for it, are decided in the shop. That aluminum work is for Tesla models built with aluminum panels. It is not the Cybertruck repair. Who pays does not create a public price list. The shop works with every insurer and also repairs self-pay cars. Neither path produces a number before the car is seen.
