Do I have to use my insurance company's body shop in Florida?.

No. In Florida, an insurer cannot require you to use a specific body shop. Florida Statute §626.9743 protects your right to choose a licensed repair facility. That choice is yours for a Tesla or a Rivian, whether you are in Sarasota, Venice, Nokomis, or farther along the Gulf Coast.

It is a Tesla Approved Collision Center, and it performs Rivian Certified Collision Repair for the R1T and the R1S. There is one building. Parking on the lot is free. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and the shop is closed on federal holidays.

We work with every insurance company. Zero direct repair program (DRP) contracts means the shop can deal with your insurer on the repair, and no insurer dictates the parts, the labor, or the procedure. You can also pay for the repair yourself. Self-pay does not need a claim number. If insurance is paying, file the claim with your insurer and bring the claim number before drop-off. We cannot open the claim for you, and the car should not sit here waiting for a claim to be opened. A claim number is optional when you request a photo estimate.
